Hudson Hills Montessori

About Us

montessori1

Hudson Hills was established in 2009. We started in New Windsor with a handful students and 3 staff members

The school was established in order to provide a well needed Montessori program for our community.

Over the years, we have been very fortunate to have grown to over 150 students. Our success has been mainly because of our attention to each child and their learning styles. Creating a lifelong love of learning along the way.

The most important part of Hudson Hills are the children and we make it our mission to create a warm, nurturing environment which allows for each child to be recognized as an individual. Therefore, our programs are designed to help each child meet their individual potential.

Where Wonder Meets Wisdom: The Hudson Hills Adventure

Imagine a place where toddlers confidently pour their own water while teenagers tackle complex mathematical theories in the same hallway. At Hudson Hills Montessori, education isn't just about learning—it's about discovering who you are meant to become.

A Journey That Grows With You

From the moment your little one takes their first independent steps in our toddler community to the day they graduate as confident young adults, Hudson Hills creates an unbroken thread of discovery. Picture your child at three, carefully arranging wooden blocks to understand mathematical concepts, then fast-forward to them at sixteen, using those same foundational skills to solve real-world problems in our high school program.

The Magic of Mixed-Age Learning

Step into any of our classrooms and witness something remarkable: a six-year-old teaching a four-year-old how to tie shoes, while a twelve-year-old mentors an eight-year-old through a science experiment. Our deliberately small, multi-age classrooms create natural leadership opportunities and foster empathy that textbooks simply can't teach.

Masters of Their Craft

Our Montessori-trained educators aren't just teachers—they're keen observers, gentle guides, and passionate advocates for each child's unique learning style. They know when to step back and let curiosity lead, and when to offer just the right challenge to spark that magical "I can do this!" moment.

Learning That Lives and Breathes

Education here isn't confined to desks and worksheets. It's in the garden where students grow vegetables for lunch, in the quiet corner where a child discovers their love for poetry, and in the collaborative projects where different ages work together to solve mysteries that matter to them. At Hudson Hills Montessori, we don't just prepare students for tests—we prepare them for life, fostering the independence, creativity, and love of learning that will serve them long after they leave our halls.
